As a strategic partner we at ATHENA Technologie Beratung GmbH support our customers in their activities in research and development. Well-founded specialist knowledge, inventiveness and creativity, considerable experimental skill and more than 20 years of experience form the basis for us as a service provider to find suitable solutions for our customers’ questions or to deal with difficult measurement tasks. To prove the technical feasibility of innovative solutions, we develop, test, and optimize technology demonstrators and functional prototypes for our clients. At the request of our customers, we accompany the development process up to the start of series production.

  • Systematic, simulation-based design of piezoelectric actuators and sensors for ultrasonic technology
  • Development and optimization of converters and sonotrodes for power ultrasonics
  • Pulse-echo sensors for airborne applications and liquids
  • Construction and commissioning of prototype systems for innovative processes
  • Metrological analysis, including Laser measurements, DFT signal analysis
  • Development and optimization of electrical control systems (ultrasonic generators)
  • Simulation of electromechanical systems (FEM, mechatronic equivalent circuit diagrams; resonance, energy conversion, damping, anisotropy)
  • Standardization of the pre-stressing process for piezoelectric actuators

Our customers

Most of our customers have a medical, automotive or industrial background. They are looking for a specialist in piezo and ultrasonic technology who is not focused on a particular process or system. We often and gladly work with companies and research-related institutes.
